Energy Audit

The electricity consumption in Hong Kong is mainly contributed by buildings. The new commercial buildings or the commercial portions of new composite buildings are required to carry out the first energy audit within 10 years after the buildings are first issued with a Certificate of Compliance Registration (COCR). The Buildings Energy Efficiency Funding Scheme subsidized building owners to carry out energy-cum-carbon audits and energy efficiency projects.
